PROJECT:
A project developed for the Sustainable Economy Session of the 5th UNI Global Union World Congress, Liverpool 2018.
The illustration puts forward opposing notions in connection with Sustainable Development: precarious work vs. labour rights, unequal distribution vs. decent wages, pollution vs. alternative energy sources, inequitable trade agreements vs. transparency. These notions are articulated around a central idea: “People First,” to achieve development in a manner respectful of human and labor rights and of the environment.
A simple animation was created for each illustration so that the whole illustration was put together step by step while the subject was being presented.
